The purpose of the Group is to develop geophysical research for the advancement of the physical knowledge of the Argentine territory. In particular, the main objective is to investigate the gravi-magnetometry, in two great lines: Geophysical Data Processing (original and optimized modern methods and software), headed by Ing. F. Guspí, and Tectonophysics (geophysical models of geological structures: sedimentaries river basins, Andean Cordillera, etc.), headed by the Dr Introcaso.
